DIRECT HIRE

The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for the design, layout and documentation of hydraulic pumps, motors, and valves, as well as the design and maintenance of manufacturing-assembly procedures.

Essential Functions:

‘ Perform design troubleshooting and testing for products such as vane pumps, piston pumps, hydraulic valves etc.

‘ Support the sales group and distribution channel with technical support and design recommendations.

‘ Identify and implement improvements in current products design, manufacturing and selection of components.

‘ Design, document and coordinate system operations to ensure the manufacturing operations are aligned in their work procedures.

‘ Identify components for standardization in design to achieve both quality and cost objectives..

Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and Experience:

‘ B.S. of Mechanical Engineering, 0-4+ years’ experience

‘ Preference given to candidates with competent understanding or Technical degree in Fluid Power Technology.

‘ Knowledge of design, drafting and modeling using 2D Auto CAD and 3D Solidworks software or similar.
