Position Summary:

The Accounting Specialist will perform a mix of accounting, order entry, and general administrative duties. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for payables, receivables, sale order entry, reconciliations, and other general accounting tasks. The role also includes administrative duties including, but not limited to answering the phone, greeting visitors, scanning, and working with the Production Scheduling and Shipping/Receiving Departments.

Overview of Essential Duties / Functions:

  • Payables o Vendor Invoice Data Entry o Check Run Preparations o Vendor Statement Reconciliations Receivables o Customer Invoice Data Entry o Management of Excel Spreadsheets for Shipment, Invoicing, and Freight Information o Monthly Statement Creations and Disbursements o Collection Calls/Emails as Needed Sales Order Entry and Customer Communication o Receives and Verifies Customer Order and Obtains Required Documents o Communicates with Customer directly or through Sales Department o CRM Module Maintenance Assistance in ERP System Company Credit Card Reconciliations and Receipt Management Scanning and/or Filing of Documents Monthly Bank and Various Account Reconciliations Inventory Cycle Count Verifications and Entering into ERP System Additional duties as assigned.

Education / Experience: High school education or equivalent required. 2 year accounting degree preferred. Two years of accounting experience preferred. Proficiency with Office applications and ERP systems experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
