Responsibilities:
- Build Sub-Assemblies and assemble machines using documentation such as SolidWorks models of Mechanical Parts and Assembly Drawings, Pneumatic Diagrams, and/or Electrical Schematics.
- Start leading, Powerup machines, verify I/O and basic functionality.
- Start leading, Debug Machines and collaborate with team members to correct problems and verify appropriate functionality.
- Setup and adjust parameters in electrical components, basic troubleshooting of electrical circuits.
- Install and Integrate basic OEM equipment and collaborate with other team members to ensure functionality.
- Partner with Engineering to identify and implement technical solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to create and update project documentation.
- Testing and tear down (shipping prep) of machinery.
- Part fabrication and modification.
- Verify fit and function of parts as well as completion and function of assemblies.
- Use of equipment such as: hand and power tools, precision measuring tools, grinding/sanding/polishing tools, lathes, mills, hydraulic press, drill press, and fork trucks.
Qualifications:
- 2 year technical degree or equivalent experience.
Two year technical degree (Automation Technology, Robotics or Fluid Power preferred) or
equivalent experience a pus
- 3-5 years of mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience.
- Shop math and blueprint reading skills.
