Job Description: Responsibilities Will be mainly in the office and handling electrical engineering duties, including: review of customer specs, development of bills of materials, design (panel layouts, sizing/specifying components, etc.), drawings (AutoCad experience preferred), prices from suppliers, preparation of customer submittal documents (drawings, calculations, material cut sheets, control narrative, process description, etc.), supporting programmers, electrical production staff, field service personnel and clients. Occasional travel may be involved, but should have plenty of advance notice. Design and integrate industrial power distribution systems from 480VAC power down to secondary voltages. • Design and integrate industrial automation and control systems including PLC controls, motor controls, and general machine design controls. • Prepare and compile necessary calculations and bills of materials to support product designs. • Prepare product or system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics (ladder format). • Determine feasibility of modifying existing or designing new equipment considering costs, time limitations, and other technical and economic factors.
